夏思義（Patrick H. Hase）

夏思義 Patrick H. Hase
劍橋大學博士，皇家亞洲學會（香港分會）名譽院士。居住香港逾五十年，長期研究本地居民的歷史和傳統生活，對本地歷史深有研究，獲委任為香港康樂及文化事務署、沙頭角中英街歷史博物館和開平市人民政府榮譽顧問。著有The Six-Day War of 1899: Hong Kong in the Age of Imperialism（中譯本：《被遺忘的六日戰爭：1899 年新界鄉民與英軍之戰》）、Forgotten Heroes: San On County and its Magistrates in the Late Ming and Early Qing、Settlement, Life, and Politics: Understanding the Traditional New Territories等書，以及多篇關於本地歷史的學術論文。
